Training at Taverham Village Hall

Taverham Village Hall is a well equipped community hub just outside Norwich centre. It has excellent accessibility options, equipped kitchens, and several meeting spaces.

Facilities

There is a kitchen to reheat meals and a fridge that can be used by all.

The training room, toilets and kitchen are fully accessible for wheelchair users. Doors and corridors are wide enough for wheelchairs to move around comfortably. The venue is equipped with sound boards and hearing loop in the Old hall.

Disabled toilets are available at the front and back of the building. There is also a large carpark with 2 disabled parking spaces

What's included during your training?

As well as your training experience, a selection of teas and coffee will be provided and a small selection of sweet snacks. Milk and oat milk will be available, however, if you require anything additional please ensure you bring it with you.

Taverham Village Hall is a non-residential venue and you will be required to arrange your own accommodation if required.

Getting to Taverham Village Hall

By car
From Norwich:
 
Take the Fakenham Road (A1067) from the outer ring road at Asda.
 
Continue through Drayton into Taverham. Straight on for about one mile, then you will see a garage on your right.
 
Take the next left turn into Sandy Lane,
signposted "village hall"
 
Continue for about half a mile and the hall is on the right hand side of the road. There is a large free car park with 2 disabled parking spaces.
 

Parking 

Ample parking is available on site. 

By train

Norwich is the closest train station. 

A bus is then available from the station stopping about 12 mins walk to the village hall.
