Training at Grewelthorpe
Grewelthorpe Village Hall is a not for profit organisation run by community volunteers. The hall is nestled in the peaceful village of Grewelthorpe, in the Nidderdale Area if Outstanding Natural Beauty. The hall is 3 miles South of Masham and 6 miles North of Ripon.
Training at Grewelthorpe is non-catered. You will need to provide your own lunch and snacks.
The hall has a fully equipped kitchen, with a fridge to store cold foods and a microwave.
A selection of teas and coffee will be provided and a small selection of sweet snacks. Milk and oat milk will be available, however, if you require anything additional please ensure you bring it with you.
Grewelthorpe is a non-residential venue and you will be required to arrange your own accommodation if it is required. Suggested websites for accommodation are below:

This cottage normally has a 3-night minimum booking, but flexibility will be offered to learners on this course. Please let the host know that you are registered on the Grewelthorpe EOL Doula Foundation course.
There are limited shops around for buying snacks, however the hall has a café that is run by volunteers on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 11am - 1pm. Please check their website for any last minute changes to opening times.
The hall is completely accessible for wheelchair users. There is an elevator for access to the training room on the first floor.
There is a hearing loop at this venue.
Driving:
Travelling North on the Kirkby Road from Ripon, Grewelthorpe Village Hall is on the left as you come into the centre of the village. The hall is past the pond and before The Crown pub.
There is no car park, but parking on the quiet roads outside the hall is unrestricted
Bus:
